Wet Felting
This bag was my second wet felting project, and was a gift for my roommate. It took a good two hours to wet felt the initial white piece, plus a couple weeks of on-and-off work on the leaf design, which I needle-felted on. I sewed the bag together with a blanket stitch, and used a beautiful wooden button and elastic to secure the bag closed. All in all, this piece turned out to be a big improvement from my first wet felting project!...

Needle Felting
This whimsical little mermaid was crafted for one of my aunts. It took an extremely long time to complete, but was well worth the effort! All the details of her face were needle-felted on...
Card Making
Back in the days when I actually cared about the holiday, I used to make hand-made Valentines for my friends. Pictured below are two of my favorites. One was made from various seashells, glued onto textured paper and tied with a raffia bow. The other was made from red construction paper, a paper doily, and tiny hand-stitched yo-yo's made from different patterns of cloth. I remember having to start sewing the yo-yo's in December to have them done by February! ...
