Bracelet Making

Seeing spikes? Yikes! The bracelet on the far right was crafted from hemp cord and real sea urchin spikes (hooray for scavenging around tide pools!). The two bracelets on the left were made from different colors of embroidery floss...


Notebook Design

I made this notebook for my final project in my Intro to Graphics class last year. I started with a picture of a pre-WWII Japanese flag, and layered on various textures and Japanese characters. Final touch? A vectorized image of my friend Lindsay! (original graphic shown on bottom)...








Accessory Crafting

This is a hair ornament I crafted to match a kimono. I took a piece of the kimono's hem fabric, starched it with Mod Podge, sewed felt pompoms, and added the beads and sequins...
